MONDAY JANUARY 19. 6AM We woke up bright and early at 4 AM , grabbed our box breakfast and boarded the busses to go to the National Mall for an appearance on CBS The Early Show. It was quite cold - upper 20s which in the East feels much colder than in Colorado. The mall was fairly empty due to the early hour. The Washington Monument is on the west end of the mall and the capitol is on the east end....so depending on which way you take the picture, you have one or the other as the background. We proudly displayed the American Flag and the Colorado State Flag. This show required a long period of standing in the freezing cold.
